Modalities Jen Offers to Women
Craniosacral Therapy (CST)
Jen has been providing Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy as a part of all bodywork sessions since 2006. It is an important component in assessing holding patterns in each client’s body & nervous system.
Visceral Work
Jen often provides Visceral Work (or gentle work with the organs of the body) as a part of her bodywork sessions. The releasing of fascia in and around different organs can improve digestion, decrease pain & increase the overall functionality of the body.
Chi Nei Tsang
Jen will often use Chi Nei Tsang during her bodywork sessions. Using Chi Nei Tsang techniques is a great way to bring more energetic balance to the body & directly improve visceral (or organ) function.
Breast Massage
Jen offers breast massage to women seeking support for breast cancer treatment, fibrocystic breasts, preparation for lactation, general breast health care tips & much more.
TMJ Therapy/Intra-Oral Massage
Jen offers massage techniques specifically for the treatment of TMJ disorders including gentle Intra-oral work (inside the mouth), as well as around the neck, face & head.
Massage Cupping
Jen offers negative pressure massage cupping as a part of some sessions as a tool to release fascial tissue, decrease general congestion and increase lymphatic flow.
Myofascial Release
Jen often incorporates gentle Myofascial Work to most of her sessions. This work not only addresses the tension held in muscles, but also helps release & unwind the connective tissue (or fascia) which can promote better flexibility, easier movement & decrease pain.
Movement & Breath Work
As a part of most sessions, Jen will instruct clients to incorporate small movements & specific breathing exercises to support the release of muscle & connective tissue, along with energetic stagnation.
